Freedom In Florence - Part 2

We just drove in from Florence. It was a long, but easy drive. We stopped in Chattanooga for a nice leisurely dinner. Anyway, it’s good to be back home. We will drive down to church in the morning and then back tomorrow afternoon. Work stars Monday morning with my first A period in almost two months. So it’s time to get back into the swing of things.

Today started up where it left off last night and only got better. There were over sixty people present today with eight churches represented. Sheryl taught probably about two thirds of the time today and really did a great job. I did pretty good too. Considering it was the first time that I have taught any of this material, I felt really comfortable. It was a joy teaching with Sheryl. The flow between us was great. It didn’t matter who was leading, we could trade off without missing a beat. I know that this is part of what God is calling us to. We will be ministering together more and more. It will be Sozo, but much more. We just seem to compliment each other’s strengths.

The teaching is great, but it stirs up hidden issues among those who hear it and it did the same thing today. At the end, we got to demonstrate some of the tools. This is where you really need Holy Spirit to show up. The girl had an issue that she hadn’t even thought of for years. As we talked and she remembered, she really lost it, but as Holy Spirit began to bring freedom, it was a beautiful sight to behold, and a wonderful thing to be a part of. It punctuated the training with the power and presence of God. He is so good!

The people that brought us in were very happy and blessed with the weekend. It exceeded all of their expectations. We were just blessed to be there and be a part of what Papa is doing in Florence. I felt a real Spirit of unity in the city, which was later confirmed by some of the people there. Florence is ripe for a move of God. Hopefully what we did will help bring it to pass. So the weekend is over. It was fun and successful, but it is good to be home. Now it’s time to really focus on school. It starts in two weeks. I can’t wait.
